My ultimate goal is to backpack in every state, preferably on a long trail. Currently I’ve backpacked in 25 states, helped in major part by the Appalachian Trail which travels through 14. With the lesser known hikes I’ll aim to provide more logistical information, though feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Who is Strider?
Known in town life as Emily or Em, Strider is my trail name. I chose it on the Appalachian Trail and have used it ever since! However, my blog is Rambling Rahn in honor of my family name and because I am a wandering, or rambling, woman.
